Our experience was very good. The ambience is really nice and they play good music as per my eight-year-old. The service was really fast. The food is delicious and the coffee is piping hot. Would definitely come back again!

So many options! And not in a bad way. Usually when there are too many menu items, the food isn't great because there are too many things going on, and they can't focus/perfect a handful of dishes. But thankfully, that wasn't the case here. Stopped in to pick up lunch on a Saturday at around noon. It was busy but not packed. There were so many things I wanted to try, and lots of menu items you don't typically see at similar Greek fast service restaurants like these, like avgolemono soup, and grilled halloumi. We tried those. The soup was okay. They did a good job in wrapping it to go to make sure none of it would spill. The halloumi was inevitably cold after the drive home but still good, so I imagine it would have been great if you ate it fresh at the restaurant. I didn't care for the sour cherry (?) sauce it came with though. They also had pork belly gyro as a protein for the bowls, which I had never seen before but it was delicious! You can also choose lemon potatoes as a side, which was nice. Will definitely have to come back but try dining in next time!

My experience was with take out. I pre ordered online. The food was delicious and they had it all ready for me and waiting when I came in the door. Highly recommend them!

Clean, convenient location near the bridge, and delicious food. The decor is very cute as well--makes you feel like you've been transported to a summery oasis away from Fort Lee! I got the plate with gyro meat and it was delicious. Their tzatziki sauce is amazing, and the fries were perfectly crispy. Would definitely recommend for a fast casual meal when you're craving Greek food!

Stopped in with a few people around 8pm on a Saturday. I ordered the chicken gyro and the Greek fries with fresh feta cheese. The food took a while to come out and it was a bit pricey for what we ordered. They forgot my husband's order entirely which had him sitting and waiting even longer. Once everyone had their food we were all content as everything came out well made. I like this place and it was my second time visiting so it seems consistent. I removed a star for the wait and forgotten order. Decor is very nice and the restrooms were clean. They have lunch specials which may be the best time to take advantage of the good meals at a reduced price.

I came by for the first time and I loved the experience! Very clean aesthetic and the staff were friendly. Vast menu items that I definitely want to try again. Other positives are the price/affordability (especially in Fort Lee) and a big parking lot (also good perk for being in Fort Lee). The gyro alone had me full but I do want to try desserts next time too. I will be back and definitely recommend others to come by!

I recently gave The Gyro Project another try and it was a great experience. My fiancé went to pick up the food for take out. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy yet modern vibe. We both got the "build your own bowls" with beef and lamb gyro. Everything was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The portion sizes were generous and I also appreciated the little touches. The only thing they left out were utensils and napkins. Overall, I would highly recommend The Gyro Project for anyone looking for delicious Greek food. It's a perfect spot for a date night, family gathering, or a quick lunch. I was too excited to eat and only was able to capture one photo. I'll definitely be returning to try more dishes!
